We have some exciting news from The Hands Physio! Our Roseville clinic is slated to open later this month on 20th May 2025. We are looking forward to bringing our expertise and services to the people of Roseville and the surrounding suburbs of Northern Sydney. Our knowledgeable and passionate therapists are here to help you with any hand and upper limb concern that you may have.
You may be wondering, what exactly is hand therapy? Hand therapy is a specific field that assesses and then delivers strengthening, massage, pain management education, and rehabilitation, helping patients regain maximum movement of their shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand after injury, surgery, or medical condition diagnosis. You do not need a referral to come in to see one of our therapists as we are able to assess and diagnose your injury or condition.
We are very proud of the fact that we can make a customised thermoplastic splints to best fit your hand or wrist that will best support you while you recover from your injury or condition. Our thermoplastic splints are lightweight and water-resistant, making it easier to manage in your day-to-day life. The custom nature of our splints also means that we can easily tailor the splint to your condition, such as making a guard to return to sports in an athlete’s case or making a small splint to fit a young child.
All our hand therapists at The Hands Physio have received further postgraduate practical training to ensure they are experts in providing comprehensive care for the upper limb. They work in collaboration with other professionals, including hand surgeons, general practitioners, and rehabilitation consultants, to provide you with the highest quality care.
